I am a certified Body Control Pilates teacher with 10 years of experience working on the Silver Coast of Zürich. Offering individual and duet sessions at my Pilates Studio in Horgen and group mat classes in Thalwil. I am passionate about mindful movement, for me Pilates is as much about mental wellbeing as it is about physical strength and flexibility.

The original name of the method created in the 1920’s by Joseph Pilates, “Contrology” explains a bit better what it is really about: “Contrology is the complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit. Through Contrology, you first purposefully acquire complete control of your own body and then through proper repetition of its exercises you gradually and progressively acquire that natural rhythm and coordination associated with all your subconscious activities.”

My Mat classes are challenging but fun, you're guaranteed to feel taller and stronger after each one! Classes are busy, but with no more than 12 participants. They’re a more affordable way to do Pilates regularly, and we use a lot of small equipment (Foam Roller, Pilates Ball, Magic Circle, Band, Spikey Ball) to add variety and challenge. She is very professional and her classes offer a good variation as well as adaptations for different levels. She is also a warm and positive person creating a relaxing atmosphere in her classes. I have been attending these classes since 2016 and I can definitely recommend. Anna has a lot of attention for each individual, supporting each person where they may have some physical constraints. She prepares each class very thoroughly by changing the exercises and the training tools so they are never repetitive. Studio classes are great also. Having had lower back pain for 4 years, pilates lessons with Anna were recommended to me. I had already tried pilates (in a group class) but this had not helped the back pain at all, so I was a little apprehensive, but I decided to give 1:1 classes with Anna a go and I am so so glad that I did. The classes are fantastic, we really do a lot so it is very efficient and the fact that Anna explains the exercises to me really well and then watches and corrects every detail of my movements is what is making the difference I think. I honestly feel an improvement in my back pain after every lesson. Anna also makes the lessons really fun so overall it's always a very productive hour that I really enjoy :-)
I have been training with Anna for 7yrs. The classes are never boring and she constantly keeps me challenged. Anna has supported me through shoulder, knee, hip and alignment issues. She pushes me to do my best and always keeps me motivated.
Over the years we have done mat, reformer, chair, zoom, group and private classes. No matter the method or the mode she is fantastic. If you get the chance to train with her, you should. I rarely miss our weekly sessions and when I do I am always disappointed.
